Volunteering / Visitors / Casual Relief Teachers/Contractors

In the spirit of partnership we welcome family members to be actively involved in the education of their children.

Parents Volunteers

In alignment with DOBCEL and VRQA compliance guidelines, all parents who would like to help out in the classroom, or be involved in any school activities e.g helping with Sports day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day e.t.c, including the coaching of school sporting teams, are required to complete the following steps to help with becoming familiar with the protocols and expectations for volunteering or working at St Thomas More Catholic Primary School.

1. Complete the Volunteer/Visitors/Casual Teachers/Contractors Induction (link below takes appromimately 5-10 minutes).

2. Read, sign and forward the DOBCEL Child Safeguarding Children and Young People Code of Conduct to fdunn@stmalfredton.catholic.edu.au

3. Provide the school with a copy of a current Working with Children Check/VIT together with a second form of photo identification.

 

All Other Visitors

All Casual Relief Teachers, Contractors and other visitors (including Allied Health Workers) are required to complete and forwarded the following documents prior to attending our school:

1. Complete the Volunteer/Visitors/Casual Relief Teachers/ Contractors Induction. This form will require your details to be entered.

2. Read, sign and forward the DOBCEL Child Safeguarding Children and Young People Code of Conduct to fdunn@stmalfredton.catholic.edu.au

3. Provide the school with a copy of a current Working with Children Check/VIT together with a second form of photo identification.

4. Provide a copy of Accreditation Certificates applicable to your industry.

5. Contractors are also required to provide a copy of their industry licence and other relevant documentation e.g. JSA, Risk Assessments
